Healthy Eating

Nanstallon Pre-School is a Healthy Early Years Setting and regards meal times as an important part of the day. Eating represents a social time for children and adults, which helps children to learn about healthy eating.  There is a mid morning/afternoon break where children are offered a choice of healthy snacks. We offer a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables and carbohydrate snack such as breadstick, toast plus a choice of milk or water to drink. Water is available at all times.
